Marina founded The Firm in 1991 as an attorney focusing on Real Estate, Land Use, Zoning, Municipal Court, Wills, Probate, Workers Comp, and Personal Injury matters.
Marina received her Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1988; she was a member of the Seton Hall Law Review. Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. Charles E. Villanueva, New Jersey Superior Court (Law Division) Essex County in 1989.
In October 1991, while in public office as Mayor of Belleville, N.J., she left the firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman and Dicker to purse private practice, establishing her roots in the Nutley/Belleville area.
Marina is fluent in Italian and is proud to assist the Italian-American immigrant and business communities with a multitude of needs.
Marina is legal adviser to the Holy See Mission at the United Nations Security Council since 2012. She is pro bono legal adviser to nine Catholic seminaries in the USA.
Marina serves on numerous boards including Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums- North American Service Office and also NY Chapter; Redemptoris Mater Seminaries- Boston and Brooklyn.
Marina is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of N.J. (1988).
